Parma Football Club is an Italian football club based in Parma, Emilia-Romagna. The club plays its home games at the Ennio Tardini stadium with a capacity of 29 050 spectators. Their uniform was a blue-yellow, so they dubbed Gialloblu (blue-yellow).
Established in 1913 with Verdi FC name, the club was later renamed Parma FC at the end of the year. Until the 1980s only play Parma in Serie B and C, and even became a semi-professional team.
In 1990 for the first time entered Parma Serie A under coach Nevio Scala. Under Scala, Parma became a strong team and win the UEFA Cup (94/95), Cup Winners (92/93), the European Super Cup (93), as well as the Italian Cup (91/92). Some of their players in the 1990s, including Fabio Cannavaro, Gianfranco Zola, Faustino Asprilla, Dino Baggio, Hernan Crespo, Enrico Chiesa, and Diego Fuser.
