Associazione Calcio Milan, commonly referred to as AC Milan or simply Milan, is an Italian football club based in Milan, Lombardy, which plays in Serie A. They play with a red-striped uniform of black and white pants (sometimes black), so nicknamed rossoneri ("red-black"). Milan is the second most successful team in the history of football in Italy, winning the Serie A 18 times, and the Italian Cup 5 times.
They are the most successful club in world football in terms of international trophies along with Boca Juniors, with 18 officially recognized UEFA and the title of FIFA. Milan has won a record three Intercontinental Cup and after its successor, the FIFA Club World Cup. Milan also won the European Champions Cup / Champions seven times. The second record after Real Madrid. They also won the UEFA Super Cup a record five times, and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup twice.
