They play with a red-striped uniform of black and white pants (sometimes black), so nicknamed rossoneri ("red-black").
Milan is the second most successful team in the history of football in Italy, winning the Serie A 18 times, and the Italian Cup 5 times.

They are the most successful club in world football in terms of international trophies along with Boca Juniors, with 18 officially recognized UEFA and the title of FIFA.
